Why I Started Eternal Water Cremation: A More Gentle Goodbye for the Pets We Love

When I started Eternal Water Cremation, I wasn’t just launching a business, I was answering a calling.

As a lifelong animal lover, I know the heartbreak of losing a beloved companion. Our pets are family. They love us unconditionally, comfort us in our hardest moments, and make the everyday feel magical. When it’s time to say goodbye, they deserve more than a standard service, they deserve care that honors the life they lived and the love they gave.

After researching the options available in Miami-Dade and Broward County, I noticed something was missing. Traditional flame-based cremation was the only widely available choice, and while it serves its purpose, I knew there was a better, more compassionate alternative: Water Cremation for pets.

Also known as aquamation, alkaline hydrolysis, or eco-friendly pet cremation, this process uses 95% water and 5% alkaline solution to gently return pets to the earth. It’s a natural, respectful alternative that uses 90% less energy and produces no harmful emissions, a win for both grieving pet families and the planet we share.

I founded Eternal Water Cremation as the first and only dedicated provider of water cremation for pets in South Florida, offering families:

  • A gentle and eco-conscious aftercare solution

  • A private and dignified cremation experience

  • Thoughtful options like a clay paw print, fur clipping, and certificate of aquamation

  • Personalized support throughout the process

Our mission is simple: to walk alongside you during one of the hardest moments with compassion, clarity, and care. Every pet entrusted to us is honored like our own, and every family we serve is treated with the respect they deserve.

Whether you’re here to plan ahead or facing a loss today, I want you to know that you’re not alone. I created Eternal Water Cremation to be a safe, loving space for healing, reflection, and peace of mind.

Thank you for being here. And thank you for considering a more sustainable and heartfelt way to say goodbye.

With warmth and gratitude,

Monica Davis
